Who I am
This site is run by Carly Docking, trading as The Curious Collective, a sole trader based in the UK. Email: hello@thecuriouscollective.net.
What I collect
When you take the assessment I collect your first name, email address, and the answers you give: your business idea, who it's for, what stage it's at, what you do for work (or the profession from the link you arrived on), the hours you can give it, and what's stopped you so far. If you leave a review I collect the text you write and your first name. I also collect analytics data about how the site is used, through Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel.
How I use it
To write your personalised roadmap and show it to you on screen. To email you a copy of your roadmap and the validation workbook. To add you to my email list, from which you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. To publish reviews on this site, using your first name only. To understand how the site is used and to show relevant adverts to people who have visited it.
Who processes it
Your answers are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to write your roadmap. Emails are sent through Resend. My email list is held in MailerLite. The site and its database are hosted by Lovable and Supabase. Analytics are provided by Google and Meta. Each of these processes your data on my behalf under their own privacy terms.
How long I keep it
Assessment answers and roadmaps are kept for two years so you can return to your roadmap link. Email list data is kept until you unsubscribe. Reviews are kept until you ask me to remove them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask me to show you the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email hello@thecuriouscollective.net and I'll deal with it within 30 days. If you're not happy with how I've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
